Ruby & Tyler are finally married!
They tied the knot on September 21st at The Historic Mankin Mansion in Richmond, VA.
The day started with meeting Ruby & her bridesmaids at the adorable little cottage on their venue site. It was decorated in blues and white. I sent Ruby out my bridal guide a few weeks prior so she had all of her details ready in the bedroom for me. Her bag of goodies included a blue embroidered fabric and a perfume bottle labeled with her new last name. You can absolutely tell that Ruby is very detail orientated, which I loved about her.
Her bridesmaids wore white. I’ve never photographed a wedding before where the bridesmaids also wore white but I was in love. They all looked so incredible. It was like straight out of a magazine!
My second shooter, Brittany Lowe, and I met up with the groomsmen shortly after. They were relaxed and tanning on the lawn (lol) and hanging out in their game room. Tyler read his letter from Ruby. She picked out the pretty card that they both wrote on. It was adorable.
Their reception was under a beautifully lit tent along with it half being outside. Ruby & Tyler’s first dance was done right in front of the tent. It was very romantic with a sun setting and string lights lit. After that, it was time for a family-style (and incredible) dinner.
The night finished with more dancing, toasts, and surprise fireworks for the guests! Ruby & Tyler drove off with fireworks alongside them as well, straight to their afterparty!
Thank you for letting me be part of such a beautiful day.
